Learn To Tri Membership with unlimited lessons, $500
You get all the benefits of Club Membership with UNLIMITED group instruction in swim, bike or run no matter if you are a fast learner, or a total newbie starting from the couch, or something in between. Private lessons are $100 per hour or more, but you get it all with this program-as much as YOU need.
OPEN WATER SWIMMING: Unlimited group open water lessons to build your skill level to achieve your first sprint, a full Ironman or anything in between. Participate every weekend if you wish.
Ideal for new and nervous swimmers that lack swim skill and confidence.
Perfect if you have already committed to a race but you lack the swimming skills.
Patient, expert coach Ingrid specializes in helping anxious swimmers experience what it’s like to be calm in the water. Ingrid teaches you to be Calm and Fast with Total Immersion® based freestyle refined by 20+ years of Triathlon racing experience in rivers, bays, and oceans.
Long Sleeved triathlon specific wetsuit is required. You will also need a pair of goggles that don’t leak—check out the suggested equipment page here.
Plus, learn basic BIKE, RUN, TRANSITION and TRAINING SKILLS so you can do your first sprint with confidence. You even get a basic training plan to prepare you for your first sprint. PERSONAL COACHING AND PRIVATE LESSONS are available on a limited basis.
Membership in Club Fearless is by calendar year. If you join after August, your membership will roll into the following calendar year.

Typical Workouts:
Saturday: Typically an open water swim at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort or a similar, flat water venue in the area such as Bayshore Beach in Los Alamitos, 18th Street Mother’s Beach, China Cove and Pirate’s Cove in Newport Beach, Occasional extra swims at Big Corona if conditions are mild. Start time usually 7:30AM.
Saturday Ride: We start together but ride is at your own pace, according to your training plan so riders are expected to be self-sufficient-to know the route, be able to change a flat and have a phone. Ride start time is posted but is Immediately after the swim, rolling out at 8:45 if leaving from the Dunes to ride Irvine Trails. We also Ride SART ( San Diego River Trail), San Juan Creek Trail, San Onofre Campground and occasionally San Gabriel and Los Angeles River Trails. We ride almost exclusively on bike trails. Coach works with new athletes and circles back often on the rides. Occasional No Drop Rides but the club watches out for each other and slower riders are rarely left on their own.

Our Athletes train for and race in many Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events. The most popular ones are Ironman Oceanside 70.3, Ironman Morro Bay 70.3, Ironman Oregon 70.3, Ironman Santa Cruz 70.3, Ironman Indian Wells 70.3 and Ironman California. Local smaller races like Pacific Coast Tri, OC Tri, Legacy Tri and the Coveathlon Series.
